No more waiting in for engineers! Openreach announces new Fibre Broadband self-install process.

No more waiting in for engineers! Openreach announces new Fibre Broadband self-install process.

Fibre Broadband news:

March saw the release of the self install Fibre Broadband option, giving end users the freedom to install their Fibre Broadband connection within their own timescales after the activation date.

This is good news for Chicane and our Partners as it means that customers no longer need to wait on site for an Openreach engineer to arrive within an AM or PM appointment slot.

The Openreach engineer performs the necessary work at the local street cabinet (or PCP), meaning that customers or their IT engineers need only configure and plug in their router to use the connection once it is made live*

Call us for more details about Fibre Broadband, if it is available in your area or the new self install process: 02031374445.
*A suitable VDSL router is required for a FTTC connection. If FTTC is being provided as part of a Simultaneous provide i.e. a new analogue line is also being istalled, an Openreach engineer/appointment will still be required.
